# Asset card

The asset card is the details page for an individual asset. It opens by clicking a row in the asset list and is divided into tabs, each displaying a specific set of asset information.

### Details tab

The Details tab displays the basic asset information:

-   **Tag** – a unique identifier for the asset in the system
-   **Make and model**
-   **Registration number and serial number**
-   **Name and short name** – make it easier to identify the asset in lists and selections
-   **Asset type** – determines which additional fields appear on the card (see section 4)
-   **Condition classification** – current condition assessment of the asset
-   **Year of manufacture**
-   **Fuel type** – e.g. gasoline or electricity

### Tracker, defect codes, and tags

If a tracker (GPS device) is linked to the asset, its details and location are displayed on the card. For assets that support telematics, vehicle defect codes (DTC) can also be displayed. In addition, the card is used to manage the asset's tags: NFC and QR tags, potential third-party system identifiers, and the ID of any mobile device linked to the asset. Managing and using NFC/QR tags is covered in more detail in section 6.

### Teams and logged-in user

You can assign a team or default team to an asset, which controls aspects such as visibility and responsibilities. The card also shows which user is currently logged into the asset (e.g., via the mobile app) – see section 12 for more details.

### Additional information and technical specifications

A separate additional information section allows you to enter more open-form details for the asset. The technical information section includes details such as asset emission data and other technical specifications.

### Attachments

You can attach files to the asset card, such as registration certificates, user manuals, or photos of the asset.

### Other tabs on the asset card

Depending on user permissions, the asset card may also include the following tabs, which are covered in their own sections:

-   **Maintenance** – asset maintenance records (section 5)
-   **Costs** – costs allocated to the asset (section 9)
-   **Users** – authorized or logged-in users for the asset
-   **Inventory** – inventory related to the asset
-   **Leasing agreement** – leasing details if the asset is leased
