# Working status-specific utilization rate and maintenance program

Kiho’s maintenance programs are based on distance, operating hours, or calendar intervals. An operating-hour-based maintenance program can now also be created based on working status-specific hours.

This allows you, for example, to set up maintenance programs for a crane truck so that the program tracks total vehicle mileage for the chassis, but only operating hours recorded in the "lift" working status for the crane. This way, separate maintenance programs can be defined for both the chassis and the lifting equipment.

Enabling working status-specific maintenance programs requires:

- Working statuses are enabled for the asset
- Tracking of working status-specific operating hours is enabled in the asset settings
- A working status filter is set in the maintenance program

## Working status setting on the asset card

The working status operating time setting can be selected on the asset card under "**Add working status operating time**," where you select the desired working status ("Transit" in the example image). In this field, enter the initial value for the working status-specific hours (usually the current operating hours of the equipment in question).

Make sure that the "**operating time calculation**" setting is set to **Start**.

After saving, the basic asset details will display "Operating time Transit (h)" in addition to the total operating time (Operating time h), which updates based on the hours recorded under the Transit working status.

Multiple working statuses can also be made visible, and dedicated maintenance programs can be created for each.

## Working status-specific setting in the maintenance program

If you want the maintenance program for the example crane truck to track both the chassis mileage and the crane hours, create separate maintenance programs for both, but set a **working status filter** for the crane.

When editing a maintenance program, a new setting called "**Operating interval working status filter**" is available. When the working status filter is set (for example, "lift"), the maintenance program tracks only the hours accumulated under that specific working status.

Assets are linked to the maintenance program as usual.

*Note! The working status filter will not work if the working status operating time setting and initial value have not been added to the asset card (must be added separately for all assets linked to the maintenance program).*

## Working status-specific operating hours in the asset list

Working status-specific operating hours can be added to the asset list view under search settings: Search criteria > Displayed fields

## Recording maintenance and updating operating hours

If the operating hour reading is updated when recording maintenance created from a working status-specific maintenance program, it only affects the operating hour reading for that specific working status. Updating the working status-specific operating hour reading during maintenance does not affect the total operating hours of the asset.
