Maintenance entries (legacy)
Asset maintenance is viewed and managed on the Maintenance tab of the asset card.
Kiho's maintenance features will be updated in late 2026 with the release of the new work orders module. It will cover maintenance work orders, maintenance schedule management, pre-departure inspections, and defect notifications, among other features.
5.1 Open maintenance
The Open maintenance view lists scheduled maintenance tasks recorded for the asset that have not yet been completed. It gives you a quick overview of what is upcoming or already overdue for the asset.
5.2 Maintenance programs
With maintenance programs, planned recurring maintenance can be automated based on intervals such as time or mileage. The program generates a new maintenance entry when a specified threshold is reached.
5.3 Maintenance templates
Maintenance templates are predefined maintenance packages that can be used as a basis for maintenance programs or individual maintenance entries, ensuring the same procedures are recorded consistently across assets.
5.4 Maintenance history
The maintenance history displays all previously completed maintenance on the asset in chronological order, providing a comprehensive overview of the asset's maintenance background.
5.5 Inspections
Inspections are recorded and their status is tracked in the same section as other maintenance tasks, making it easy to check the validity of periodic inspections directly from the asset card.
5.6 Maintenance messages and alert levels
Alert levels can be attached to maintenance tasks to highlight upcoming or overdue maintenance. Maintenance messages notify those responsible to ensure that maintenance tasks are not overlooked.
